July Fundraiser - Callen-Lorde

To keep the pride celebration going, our next Money-Raising Monday on July 5th will feature Callen-Lorde, a leader in LGBTQ+ healthcare in NYC and beyond.

Callen-Lorde’s grassroots heritage dates back 50 years to the St. Marks Clinic and the Gay Men’s Health Project – two volunteer-based clinics that provided safe and confidential sexual health and primary care regardless of ability to pay. These clinics merged in 1983 to form Community Health Project, a mostly volunteer-staffed, episodic care program housing the nation’s first community-based HIV clinic.

Callen-Lorde continues to provide judgement-free healthcare and related services to NYC’s LGBTQ+ community, while also pioneering research, health education, and doing extensive advocacy work.

Please join us for a visit on July 5th; 100% of proceeds from treatments on that day will be donated to Callen-Lorde. If you’d like to contribute to their work but are unable to make it by on that date, please feel free to donate here to support from home.
