August Fundraiser - Resource Redistribution Program

The next Money-Raising Monday on August 2nd will feature our very own Resource Redistribution Program. 100% of proceeds from treatments that day will help fund half-cost treatments for people in the community who have fewer resources.

Before opening The Rooted Refuge, we both spent years providing treatments in a wide spectrum of settings, ranging from low-key community clinics to very upscale (pricier) practices. Our collective thoughts around these experiences was that it seemed that no matter where the healing was taking place, all treatments we provided were exactly the same; it was the setting that dictated the prices rather than the quality of treatment, or available resources within the community. As we feel that cost should not be a deterrent to healing, we started the Resource Redistribution Program to engage with our financially abundant patients in a meaningful way to better serve the larger community, and make acupuncture accessible to all.

Twice a year, we plan on using our Money Raising Monday fundraisers to help this program blossom more fully, but you can contribute at any time by either choosing to book an appointment under the Resource Redistribution Rate, or sharing with your practitioner if you'd like to donate during any visit.
