January Fundraiser - End Overdose
Happy new year y’all! Our first Fundraiser Friday of 2023 on January 6th will feature End Overdose, a non-profit organization working to end drug-related overdose deaths through education, medical intervention, and public awareness.
I know this one hits close to home for many of us, as fentanyl-related overdoses have now become the number one cause of death for people ages 18-45. One of our first initiatives when we opened the clinic was to make sure everyone had access to safe healthcare through free condom+lube “fun packs” as well as having Narcan on hand should we ever encounter need for it. Through End Overdose, anyone is able to get free Narcan training as well as access to Narcan itself and fentanyl test strips. We highly encourage everyone to make use of this fantastic free resource to educate yourselves and help our community to stay safe.
Please join us for a visit on January 6th; 100% of proceeds from treatments that afternoon will be donated to End Overdose. If you’d like to contribute to their work but are unable to make it by on that date, please feel free to donate here to support from home.
